Forged: Braided Bracelet
The Burnished Horse signature hand braided horse hair bracelet
Inspired by one of the most enduring symbols of the horse world, the Forged Farriers Nail Bracelet pairs hand-braided horse tail hair with solid sterling silver fittings which echo the distinctive form of the traditional farrier's nail.
The sterling silver end caps and sliding horseshoe ingot complement the elegant square braid handmade using the Japanese Kumihimo technique.
Each bracelet is made individually to order with tail hair from your own horse or hair carefully selected by us. Complimentary engraving makes it truly personal.
Hallmarked for quality by the London Assay Office and beautifully gift boxed including a presentation card with the name of the horse(s).

Sending your horse hair
If your jewellery is being made with your own horse’s hair, please send clean, dry, horse hair. Full-length tail hair, ideally at least 40 - 45 cm long is required for this design. Take the hairs at their full length rather than trimming the ends.
A small bundle is plenty — a pencil’s thickness. If sending hair from more than one horse, please package and label each horse’s hair separately.
Full instructions, including where to send your horsehair, will be provided after ordering. Any unused hair will be returned to you with your finished jewellery.
Making & Delivery
Each piece is individually handmade to order, and commissions are completed in the order they are received.
If you have a particular date in mind, please let us know when ordering and we will do our best to accommodate it.
Once completed, your jewellery will be carefully packaged and sent using an insured, tracked service. UK delivery is included.
Care & Longevity
Horsehair is a natural material and, with appropriate care, your jewellery can be enjoyed for many years.
Avoid prolonged soaking and anything that may snag, cut or abrade the horsehair. Remove your jewellery before bathing, swimming or activities that may expose it to excessive moisture or abrasion.
Please follow the care instructions supplied with your jewellery.
