Evoking the atmosphere of the barn: the aroma of saddle soap, the smooth touch of supple leather and the chink of stirrup irons, our "Leather" collection celebrates the craft of the Loriner. "Loriner" derives from the Latin lorum, meaning "rein", "rope" or "thong" - in the sense of what we would call bridlery - and traditionally Loriners are specialist blacksmiths or ironmongers who make the smaller metal parts that connect together bridles, harnesses and saddles as well as the saddle tree itself and also the rider's spurs.

We borrow the shapes of bits, buckles, billet hook fastenings,  D rings, terrets and head nails to create our "Leather" Collection. We think you'll love our pendants, bangles, finger rings and earrings, jewellery made using similar techniques to those practised in the Loriner's foundry, albeit at much smaller scale.
